The Kolli Hill resorts is located on the Kolli Hills, hardly a kilometer distance from Seemedu, the main town on the Kolli Hill range. The resort is essentially a group of six swiss type tents set on a sloping hillside with a little lake in front. Even though the place is easily accessible by a pucca tar road, its location offers complete privacy with hardly any man made structures around.

Each tent has a comfortable double bed, almirah, fan, a large couch, dressing area and attached bath with running water. A small patio on the front with a little dining table allows guests to enjoy the food and the morning sun that streams on from above this hills opposite. A landscaped garden with lawns on the front doubles up as a outdoor game area for the family or group. Food is cooked in the little kitchen attached to the resort and can also be purchased from the town which is hardly a couple of kilometers.

The resort is the ideal getaway if you wish to escape the crowd of the city or that crowd of tourists that flock the more popular hill stations such as Ooty or Kodaikanal. The silence both during the day and the night is absolute except for the sounds of insects and toads that live in the nearby forests and fields.
